what to do with old 800 duron chip?

I have an old duron 800mhz chip and some (i think) 168 pin SDram but no motherboard for them. Should I get a board like the ECS k7s5a and just fit them all together or is that just a waste of money? should I try and find a mb that takes the old sdram? I found that kind of hard these days. Are there even any more combo boards around like the k7s5a?

FS/FT forum to either buy a motherboard, or to sell the chip and SDRAM. CompGeeks.com also carries closeout motherboards, some with warranties.

Up to you whether you need a new slow system or some pocket money.

thanks for the suggestion on compgeeks. I normally don't go looking there.

Does anyone know of a mb similar to the k7s5a that takes both types of RAM? or is that the only one out there? or probably the most popular one out there?

I held on to an old AMD motherboard and an AMD k6-2 300 processor for about one year when an old friend asked me If I could get his old computer working. I stuck that in his old giant Gateway Tower that had an Intel P100 in it and it ran great. Never know when an opportunity will present itself. Someone probably has an old VIA KT133A chipset motherboard sitting around collecting dust that would work with that. You could put a computer together and donate it to a high school or something and claim it on your taxes.
