What to do with my life? College?

I'm 18... and I'm an intern at a company (IT) making around 16 an hour. I like the job, I like the environment, I like the people... but I'm wondering if and how I should go to college?

The job is a developer position... and there are no real certifications you can get for it... but I was thinking maybe go for a CS?

And since the job is 9 hours a day, how will I be able to attend college?

I can't tell you anything degree related for your field becuase I know very little about that area. I do know this, go to college, get a degree for something to fall back on and to beef up your resume, plus just enjoy the experience. Meeting people, parties, friends, good times.

Opportunity for promotions if you go to school?
See if work will pay for you to go back to school in a field that will benefit your career advancement with them?

More education is generally not a bad idea.
Go for a masters if you do go to college, a JD isn't a bad idea either even if you won't practice law.

While education is usually good, yes, in some instances it'd be tough to justify the cost of earning a JD if it's not at least somewhat related to your field.

Not to mention he's just casually throwing around the idea of going through law school.

Very true; it's not exactly the easiest of undertakings. Same with a Master's, although those generally tend to be a bit less intense.

A degree is a great investment. Look up the stats on google and you can learn some neat stuff too! I work full time and go to school part time.
