I picked up a nice 40x40mm peltier over the weekend, hell it was only $5. So now I've disassembled the thing and extracted the peltier element, so now the question is what do I do with it? I'm not sure of the exact specs or manufacturer, but @ 12V it draws ~1.7A, so I'm estimating it at around 20watts or so. I'd like to use it for some computing purpose, but I'm not thinking of many suitable uses. The only one that comes to mind is making a nice beer mug cold plate.
