Hi everyone, I just bought an acer 22" from Circuit city and it has 1 stuck pixel next to one dead pixel. Should I keep it or return it for another one? Thanks

If it's still within 30 days of the purchase, why not exchange it? You paid hard earned cash for their product, and it should work out of the box. Dead pixels is not a working product.

Actually, not true.
LCD panels often have dead pixels, & according to many manufacturers, a dead pixel or two is not considered a defect.
But i'm not saying exchanging is a bad idea.
I did that when my first LCD had a dead pixel.
The salesman told me the dead pixel count return policy is whatever the manufacturer considers to be a returnable unit.look at your receipt. more than likely it will have a tolerance for dead pixels. it depends on the size of the monitor. im guessing that its probably about 7-9 pixels will make a 22" defective.
ACER won't replace a display until it has 5 or more dead pixels - they usually aren't too obtrusive, and it's a rare LCD screen that doesn't have at least one out of the box).

I know, I know. I fully understand manufacturer warranties. I was just trying to encourage the op to get off his behind and make the exchange before its too late. He bought from circuit city so he's got 30 days to return for any reason, even if there isn't a defect.
