Happens to me all the time. Put a warm wet washcloth on it and rub it gently for a little bit. Either it's something in there and that will loosen it, or you're stressed out and it will hopefully relax the eye muscle enough to stop twitching for a little bit.

If you're eye is twitching like that, and you're sure there's nothing in it, that is a sign of stress and tire. I would suggest to catch some sleep and relax some, that should help significantly.

If you can't, tape it shut or something :p ... Or just follow some of the instructions that have just been posted here :p

Carefully put a toothpick through the top and bottom lid. Then Super Glue the toothpick ends to the forehead and cheek, respectively.

You will either cure the twitch or start a fad....

try to twitch your other eye at the same speed so people think you're jsut blinking very fast. By the time people realize you're insane the twitching should stop.

I have had the muscles around my eye twitch, but never the eye itself...that must be strange...

I've heard too much caffeine can do that to the nerves in your eyes. If you ingest a lot of it, lay off for a while.

Go into the bathroom and stick your head in the toilet, then close the lid on your head a couple of times. This may not make the twitching stop but it will keep you mind off of the twitching.

Mine does that when I get stressed. Then that ticks me off and it really gets to jumping. :)

It one of the most aggravating things.

Anyway, I don't know how to make it stop, but good luck.

I always got that from stress. Around the time of the SATs one of my eyes twiched for a week straight -- that was after I had taken them, too.
