Please, DO NOT CALL 911, that number is for emergencies not things that bother you. There is a number for the police dept that you can call to have an officer respond. In Las Vegas we have 311, a police number for non-emergencies.

once again, 911 is for emergencies only.

Sorry, that is something that really bothers me though, thank you.

It DEPENDS on which state you live in. In Hawaii, you are officially advised to call 9-1-1 for just about anything police related that might even be remotely urgent.

Non emergency is always open. If you are polite most people will turn it down no matter what they look like.

Well they're stupid and inconsiderate enough to blast their car stereo without giving a sh!t about the neighors. The noise is still here and frigging annoying, but I don't want to get killed or get the shiat beaten out of me.

sissy people shd. learn to be quiet

Uber, that's a great list but unfortunately you are missing several hundred of his problems. He has never made a positive post on here, it's always negative and about some problem he is having. It's hard to keep up though...;)

Perhaps this is the thread you're interested in reading: "US Sued By Families. . .".

Don't you read your threads, Lucky?

P.S.: I'm glad you got things taken care of Jerboy. But please for future purposes, you need not post such in a forum when you are mature enough for your parents to leave you alone at home. I am assuming you're therefore capable of handling such situation without advise or solicitation from people you really don't know on the 'net. :)

911paramedic,

That's not always true. When I call the police department in Minneapolis, they tell me that it's OK to just dial 911 for everything requiring police assistance, because they handle all the dispatch for the entire city, and they can prioritize all calls.

We're probably an exception to the rule though. I always start a non-emergency call with "this is not an emergency, but. . ." They probably appreciate that if they are flooded with emergency calls for some reason.

Pull out your sub and launch a torpedo at them...

Erm... wait... that just sounds wrong...
