First Bad Deal: ACCESSMICRO.COM

Ordered Geforce3 Card from accessmicrco.com. They delayed there expected shipping time two time, approximately two weeks. I emailed them telling them I would like to cancel my order when I found out about the second delay. The next day I received a shpping confirmation. Upon receipt of the card I emailed them for an RMA, they will not let you RMA through the phone. I wait 3 days no response. I call and explain, and they tell me to email again. I do that, wait another 3 days and no response. I call again, this time they give me a different address. I emailed again, waited 4 days and still no response. Tomorrow will be the last day before my RMA time limit is up.

Second Bad Deal: COMPGEEKS.COM

Ordered some home phone line networking cards. It was advertised as brand new. When I received it, the products were obviously used. I emailed compgeeks and wait a week for a response. They email with a copy of their RMA policy and expect me to pay shipping back. I email them again and have waited a few days and still no response. Isn't this false advertisement?

What can I do about these bad deals? I purchased them with my Discover Card?

I'ld call Discover card customer service, and dispute the transactions.

I would probably try to flex your muscle with compgeeks before dealing with Discover (they aren't well known to support the consumer).

In the future stick with Mwave or newegg. Ordered so many times for me, friends and family and never really had any trouble!

READ THE ESTEINBERG COMMENT

Ok, I'm no CompSci Genius, but if your a prof at a university and you DON'T know how to spell....um....

Sure, I can understand the frustration when writing a comment, but the spelling mistakes are horrendous!
