what to do now... dvi-i dvi-d mistake... what is the cheapest solution

I ordered a 9100 radeon for my pc because it was on sale ($43 shipped) i recieved the card today and realized it is dvi-d when my monitor and cables are dvi-i. I know that they are compatible but my cable wont fit the card. oddly enough if I position it just right it will carry the signal and I am using it like that now. However I dont like "rigging" it like this. Should I just sell the card and get something else? or is there a cheap and easy way to correct this?

I am looking at the price for dvi-d cables, but I cant find any dvi-d stuff.

The 4 pins surrounding the flat blade are for analog RGB. Just cut those off on the end you are plugging into the video card.

If you want a new dvi-d cable instead TigerDirect has a 2M dvi-d for $15.

yeah i cant think of a time where i will use this cable with an analog device... i already have my hdtv setup running in the living room 😉
