What to do - Loads of disk and cds

You know how u collect blank disc an bunch of cd and aol cds and other crap.. can you just throw these out in the garbage ? what about the cds ? i got stacks of these crap but im afraid of getting a ticket. Im in nyc and they got garbage police that tears ur bag open to check

any ideas

nyc recycle rule crap.. they fine u for mixing bottles , plastic and crap..

It was hard, but a recent move forced me to get rid of about 15 years worth of floppies and CDROMs...I'm not really sure why I felt the need to hang onto the driver disk from a printer I threw away in 1996.
