What to do: limo company lies, then doesn't tell us

basically for our senior ball this saturday we had a stretch Excursion lined up with a limo company. It was all planned out and everything. Today, 3 days before ball, we call the company and somehow it turns out they never had an excursion lined up for us in the first place. The contract was signed, money had been collected, plans discussed, everything. Worst part is, they hadn't planned on letting us know... imagine what a pain that would've been...

Should we demand some sort of compensation and threaten reporting them to the BBB, or should we let this go?

Well, compensation by way of refund, sure, and I'd report them to the BBB, unless they come thru with one and offer a discount.

If you have a piece of paper stating that they would have the excursion lined up for you, demand that they have the limo ready or you will be seeing them in court. Afterwards, call up judge judy :D
