What to do in Virgina Beach...

I going to Virgina Beach for a few days at the end of this month and was wondering what are some cool things to do while I'm down there, thanks for your time

I've never been to Virginia Beach, but if you take a 45-minute drive, you'll be able to see the following:

- Colonial Williamsburg
- Busch Gardens
- Jamestown Plantation

I would imagine that Virginia Beach will be a little quiet given the fact that we're going into the cool season for the year.

wje, I was luck enought to be in Williamsburg last month w/ my bro and my parents and was able to see Colonial Williamsburg and the Jamestown Plantation. I realize the weather won't be warm enough to hit the surf like Kntx posted, so I was looking for anything to do as I'm staying at a hotel on the beach.

Colonial Williamsburg is really cool. Jamestown is cool as well.

Bush Gardens is a lot of fun


BUT DEFINETLY DEFINETLY GO TO NORFOLK NAVAL BASE!!!!! ITS FREAKING AWESOME

That's one thing I regret not seeing neomits, my parents saw the naval base and said it was cool as h*ll. I'm down there for 5 days, so I'm definately going to the naval base w/ my Mavica in hand

Well if the police havent caught "The Godly Sniper" by the time you reach Va. I would suggest buying a helmet, a shovel and a rifle and diggin in, he seems to have expanded his hunting grounds.

Yeah, but Virginia Beach is about 3.5 hours away from where the shootings have taken place. However, the last shooting was only 7 miles from my house. :frown:

My advice is, go over the Bridge (which is an experience inof itself), ride up Delmarva until you get to Ocean City, and have a blast there!

Seriously, though, the naval base there is awesome.

AvesPKS, how far is Ocean City past the 17 miles through the bridge?
