Ok I just started with a new doctor and he seemed really good and helped me out when i needed to make a fast appointment, but along with contacts i got glasses.

he checked my glasses prescription twice, i went in for glasses and then when i got my contacts he rechecked my glasses, even though i didnt ask

now I can see much clearer with my contacts then i can with my glasses. I havent worn glasses fofr 2 years so i thought it might just be getting used to them again, but now its been a week of me wearing them every night and while i can still see pretty good, i can see much better with contacts.

do i go back and ask him for a 3rd opinion on my glasses? what if he says the prescription is right?

Did he replace your glasses or just check check them? It's possible that your glasses might not be quite as strong as you need, but good enough. Contacts seem to be more easily (and cheaply, especially if they are disposable) changed than glasses. Maybe he decided that the glasses were good enough but went ahead and got you newer more powerfull contacts. Just a guess (I actually have this situation. My glasses work fine, but my contacts are a bit stronger. They are disposable though...) Even though the glasses are not perfect, they are good enough and not worth the cost and trouble of getting new ones.

Edit: Hell, I misread your post. You got glasses. I don't know what to say then.......
