I'm in the DFW area until sometime early on tuesday, got a bit of free time. I'm in town with my girlfriend and wondering if there is anything that I shouldnt miss? Already have her talked into letting me go to fry's as there are none anywhere near kentucky. Just wish I had brought more money.

Anything around here that is not to miss?

What are you into, Dallas like any other big city has lots of things to do.

You could go to deep ellum if you like live music. It is just east of Downtown Dallas
 
Cool, we are actually around Denton, we went out to Joe T Garcia's with her family last night, maragarita's were pretty good there. Staying with her mother, but have a pretty free reign, just dont want to get home and have someone mock me because I missed out on X experience
 
I live in this area, it just depends on what your interested in. West End market place is good for date type atmosphere. two zoos in the area if you are into the animal observation thing. Fair park area has some interesting stuff.

Kimbell Modern art museum is an interesting place. It's in Ft. Worth.

Deep Ellum or West end is decent for live music. You could go watch the Byron Nelson or Colonial Golf tourney depending on when you are here (ususally pretty cool atmospheres).

as for denton, there is this little hole in the wall right near UNT that has awesome burgers and dirt cheap beer. there is another place called 'mother's' somwhere around there that also has dirt cheap beer. for a dry county it sure is easy to get drunk cheap
