What to do in Santa Barbara?

I'm taking my girlfriend up to Santa Barbara this weekend and was wondering if there were any must-do things or must-go places..

also, some good shopping and restaurant suggestions if you have any 🙂

Oh, and when you go on orbitz or something for hotel rates and it says corporate rate, what must be presented when checking in, if anything?

uummm...the beach? LOL

i grew up there and it's the best place to go. there's a restaurant out on the pier that's fun. if you want something more casual, Rusty's Pizza Parlor is still my favorite pizza in the world. or take a picnic to Shoreline Park...its on a cliff overlooking the beach...if it's a clear day, you can see out to the islands...or else go at sunset and watch the sun sink into the ocean.

<getting nostalgic...thank God i'll be there in 6 weeks for Christmas...sigh>

lots and lots of pretty girls in SB 🙂

its a college town, I don't think they're selection of high quality restaurants is that great, but I was only there for 2 days when I went. Callows = hot waitress, probably hotter if you're recovering from an intoxicated night.

State Street, hiking in the mountains, Botanical Gardens, restaurants GALORE, UCSB/IV college town, many beaches, girls, shopping (on state), girls, you can rent kayaks in some areas, art museum, ....
