I commute by bicycle, work in the Presidio, and far too often make the mistake of riding across the bridge and along Conzelman. Ugh. Why do I keep doing that to myself???

Heading to San Francisco pretty soon for a few days. Taking my wife but I'll be working all day and will only have the evening to do stuff with her. Staying near Union Park Square. What are some things my wife should do on her own and what are some things we should do together in the evenings? Also what restaurants should we hit up?

Go down to San Jose and see the Tech Museum.

Visit the Metreon downtown

Drive down Route 1 South to Santa Cruz, or go North over the Golden Gate Bridge and see some Redwood trees

Unless you find a movie theater and a Target interesting I'd probably skip the Metreon.

If you want to a mall experience you're better served going into the Westfield SF Centre.

Oh there is a really cool sounding art exhibit at Alcatraz now, Ai Weiwei. Definitely go see that.

well thats why you ride your bike up to hawk hill, its a pretty easy climb if you bike at all

It is fortunately not close to my house. Their soft serve ice cream is pretty killer too.
