What to do in Minneapolis for friends bachelor party?

Me and a bunch of friends are going to drive down to Minneapolis from Winnipeg, MB, Canada for a friends bachelor party.

We were gonna go to ValleyFair, but other than that we're sorta out of ideas.

I imagine the guys probably wanna go to a strip club for a little bit and then end up at a bar later in the evening. Any suggestions for a good night club that plays some of the top40 type stuff?

What about a hotel to stay at?

Good steak house?

Any other fun things you guys can recommend?
 
I'm from there, and since I'm poor and underaged, I've got nothing for ya. ValleyFair, bring a swimsuit for the waterpark to check out the underaged girls.
 
Downtown
Strip clubs: Deja Vu, Sheiks, Rick's cabaret, etc

Pubs: Keirnan's, Brits

Clubs: Drink, Spin, Fly, Gay 90s , etc

Bars: GameWorks, spacing at the moment, there are a lot

Uptown is the other fun place:

Chino Latino's, lots of eating places and quite a few bars

Around the University of Minnesota could be fun too ( hot coeds, though not so many since its summer break)

The Library Bar, Burrito Loco, Dinkytowner, Sally's, Big Ten (best hot turkey subs ever!), Town Hall, Bullwinkle's, the Corner, Sgt. Preston's etc
 
go downtown, there are a couple good bars/hotels/restaurants there. There is also a cluster of decent bars uptown, I liked Williams because it has like 120 beers on tap which was amazing. other than that, go to the deja vu, i hear its the top strip club in town.
 
I can't really speak well as the Vu is the only place I've been, but it was pretty trashy, though I imagine all strip clubs are trashy/tacky.
 
Depends on age, but I'd suggest Manny's for a decent steak followed by the Vu, any of the downtown bars near the Vu, and then stay at either Graves 601 or the Grand (both downtown).
 
If you are going to be downtown there are many bars in the Warehouse district which will all be busy and most have cover on the weekends. Manny's or Morton's Steakhouses are good - another option would be M&S grill or if you are game for a Brazilian steakhouse check out Fogo de Chao. For strip clubs another option is The Seville which is right by block E and the target center. Another option would be the uptown area (where Williams is - mentioned above). Uptown is usually a little less crowded and doesn't have covers. Checkout thrifty hipster (website) for information on local happy hours, bars, etc.
