What to do in Des Moines?

I'll be there on business for a week in late february...is there anything worthwhile to do there?

Cool clubs? Anything...don't want to be alone in a hotel room for a week....

honestly all you can do is sit in your hotel room and ask "Why fsckin Des Moines?!"

but at least it's not Fresno 😛

If it wasn't winter you could go to Adventureland (lame theme park) 😛

Or use the alone time to figure out the sound of one hand clapping.

I had some cousins that lived there. Drove by there alot when i lived out there in chino hills.


what really sucks is i'll be in des moines the night of one of Henry Rollins shows close to my hometown.
Every year I see Rollins in february, at the barrymore theater, every year i get to hang out with the man for a few minutes before he gets on the bus....

Yeah! I remember going to one in quad cities (can't remember what town) it was called Daisy Dooks.
