I got accepted to Grad School in UM for a MS and I'm meeting a professor next month. Any suggestions as to where to check out? I'll be staying for 3 nights. It'd be great if some ATOT people can show me around!!

Congratulations on your acceptance! What are your interests? I attended the UMich from 1999-2000 and there is plenty to do. If you enjoy nature make sure to check out the Arb. Here's a list of other potential place sto check out.

AA is a great town. lots to do, and some great restaurants as well. Spend your few days exploring the city.
Have dinner one night at the Gandy Dancer! 🙂

Gandy Dancer is great. I did my undergrad at UofM, great university/city. They also have a newly built Buffalo Wild Wings (BW3's) on State St. just north of central campus for some cheap wings/draft beers that unfortunately was not there while I was a student.

Ashley's is a little nicer bar that is frequented by grad students, on State just north of the union. Be careful, as I had a drill bit in my pizza once.

I remember seeing a demo of the "earthquake lab" or whatever they call it in one of the Civil buildings. I probably didn't really appreciate it since I was about a Junior in HS at the time, but you may want to check it out.
