What to do if you can't reach sites (router broken somewhere between you & destin.)?

For several days now i have problems reaching various important sites.

if i do a tracert it shows clearly that some routers somewhere in the UK seems to be broken, as well as some odd outages in the US.

Here it just stalls and cant reach destination.

Basically, i have horrible problems reaching MOST sites in the US now, i cant even reach some of my own sites for maintenance.

What do you do in such a situation? What can i do? It really starts to **** me off since its like that for some days already, and some sites and forums i can only reach when i go on some proxy site.

Coming to think about it the Internet was introduced into our life when I was in my late 40ties.

As much as I can recall life were Good before it too.

In any case I would try to call the ISP.
