What to do for someone who is sick with a cold?

My girlfriend has been sick for the last 2-3days and has been staying home from work/school. Everytime I go over there, I seem to be doing something wrong....where as I inflame her even worse by making a comment like "Did you get a good night of sleep?" to which I get a response like "WTF, where have you been? I'm sick, how am I supposed to get a good nights sleep?" I know of course, this is just the fever and coughing talking, but I still can't figure out anything I can do to make her feel better.

Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to make her feel a little more comfortable? Ideas?

tell her to quit being a baby. now she can't make fun of the way you act when you're sick

Maybe you can bring her a tiny little present (like little teddy bear - only a couple of bucks, nothing expensive), or make her tea or stuff like that. Just little things letting her know that you care, even if she doesn't appreciate it at the moment because she's sick. She'll probably be able to look back at it later and realize the sweet things you did for her.

Hell, even if she is sick, she shouldn't gripe at you like that! If she does that sh!t again, tell her you are going to go do something outside and then say "O....wait....I forgot...you can't do anything fun since you are sick!" and then laugh in her face! muhahahahahaahahaha

best thing for BOTH of you is to stay away from each other until she gets completely better.

trust me, it sucks catching somebody else's cold right after the other person gets better. ;)

Nah, I've already got it, I'm just trying to make her feel better. I'm not worried about me.

I agree with TG. Something like a little teddy bear would be nice. As far as other stuff, ask her if thre's anything you can get her/fix for her. Make her soup, etc.
