What to do for a couple of days in miami?

We're going to miami for a school competition, and have a few days extra to do fun stuff. Any recommendations? Should be not too expensive and not inappropriate.

If you're not 18 south beach sucks, and if you are it still sucks because the good clubs are 21+.

South beach is okay but miami is just really dirty and I happen to hate it. Yik. Then again I hate this whole freakin state. I'm embaressed to say I live here.

Probably the only statement by MRCIDE that I will ever agree with.

In Miami, check out Bayside. Right on the Ocean, easy to get to, younger crowd, lots of neat shops &amp; restaurants and you can take a cheap sightseeing cruise of 1 1/2 -2 hours for ~$15. Also a Gambling cruise if you are interested and old enough.

Go to any grocery store like Publix and wait for some octogenarian to slam their cart into your ankle. What fun.

Or

Get lost in the Everglades and fire 3 shots for assistance. Then duck real fast as hundreds of local inhabitants return semi-automatic machine gun fire.


Or

Lick a poison frog on someone's lawn.

There are literally thousands of things to do in South Florida/Miami.


I lived (suffered most of the time) there for 13 years, I know the deal.

I was thinking more like day trips for a group of 20 + teachers.
Im only 16, and the oldest one in the group is 17.
