Your hands'll get used to them. My knuckles used to get torn up doing push-ups on them on hardwood floors - they gradually got better.

We are not allowed to glove while rowing. And this isn't my knuckle this the inside of my palm where it meets the fingers. I know knuckles get hard I used to do pushups on that concrete/cement.

I'm sure you can tape yourself up to help while you get your hands worked in.

In a couple of weeks, the blisters won't form anymore.

Don't rub the calouses off with pumace or use lotion to soften them up unless you wan't to go through the process again...

Its not really a rule its just not practical. Its hard to explain without getting techinical about the stroking and feathering of my paddle :D. But gloves won't give me a good enough grip to do what I gotta do. ^_^ Pervert.

I play drums and continually get blisters ontop or underneath my huge callouses. Try some of that Liquid Bandaid stuff like Nu Skin.
It works pretty well if you have painful blisters and can't give them time off.

Guys who compete in World's Strongest Man on TV sometimes rip callouses and skin off. They use super glue to keep things in place and to protect the skin underneath. I'd do the same thing if you have a blister that rips open.

Anything you put on your hands to protect yourself from callouses will cause you to lose your grip. I'd say just tough it out until they callous over. If you try to stop them now, they will always be hurting you. Once you let them callous over, they really won't bother you anymore.
