What to do about a sunburn?

I was in the sun from 9 am to 3 pm today with absolutely no shade and now my face, arms, and neck are on fire. What's the best remedy to help ease a sunburn? 🙁
 
Nothing works better than a glob of aloe on you. I went down to Mexico for a week with no sun block and got sunburns on top of sunburns (ouch!). Put some aloe on and you're all set for the next day. Just remember to keep applying it and put on as much as you can without looking like Vaseline boy.

but seriously...aloe works really well...there's this stuff my grandma got me...no idea what is tho 🙁
 
Actually, putting sunscreen on the burn seems to help sometimes. I guess it's the aloe in it that's doing the trick.
