It’s almost April. Time to do the proverbial ‘Spring Maintenance’. Here is a partial list. What else can be added?

Tires – Check air pressure and tire tread, including the spare tire.
Body – Get good car wash, under carriage wash, and wax job
Engine – Check air filter, check maintenance schedule for other maintenances. Check belts and hoses for wear.
Air Conditioning – Check outlet temperature compared to outside temperature
Remove from vehicle – Ice scrapper and miscellaneous clutter
Check all fluid levels – oil, transmission, coolant, brake, power steering and washer fluid.
Check Windshield Wipers
Brakes – Listen for any brake squeaks or uneven braking

Cabin filter check - if your car has one dust it out or if really bad change.

Maintaince - Check to see if you are due for a major service soon so you can plan ahead (like order parts or finding a good tech to do the work)

Clean battery terminals

Assuming this is a vehicle you drive year round, you should check your tire pressure every couple weeks at most.

For us here in Alaska, going to have to swap out the studded tires before the deadline. I think, is June 1st.

Besides a good car washing and changing out the winter floor mats I don't do anything special for Spring. I follow my maintenence manual and do the required work at the required time plus visual checks of various components every time I change oil.
