What to buy for around $200-300?

...for the sytem in my sig. I have some store credit at my local computer store, and I was wondering what I should waste...err spend it on. 🙂

I've had my eye on a 74 gb Raptor and an Audigy 2 that should put me right around $300. I have to spend it by this weekend, so any other opinions?

How about a backup plan? That $$$ can buy you a large external drive for your backup just in case you don't have a method in place already.

I actually thought about that, but I already have a nice 19" and I'm pretty happy with it.

I'll be using my old hard drives to backup my stuff if I get a Raptor so I'm not really worried about that...plus I don't ever really leave anything that important on this rig.

Well I decided on this:

(1) 74 gb Raptor
Audigy 2 ZS
Sennheiser PC150 Headset

What do you guys think? A little more than my credit...but what the hell right?

Do you really need the Audigy 2 ZS? Doesn't that support 7.1? Couldn't you just get a regular Audigy 2 Card and save some money?
