What to burn to disc for mobo drivers?

Hey guys,

So maybe this is a dumb question... but...

I'm reformatting my friend's computer and he doesn't have the cd that originally came with the mobo with all the chipset drivers, BIOS, LAN driver, etc. He has a P8P67 Pro.

I found the downloads section on ASUS's site: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8P67_PRO/#download

I thought there would just be one executable that I could download to USB or rip to .iso, but it seems like there are a ton of separate ones. How exactly do I install these drivers? Do I have to DL each one separately on different CDs? Or can I just put thema all on one? If I stick them all on one, how do I install them? Will they each have a different setup.exe file?

Thanks for the help guys. :)

i'd just put each file in a folder on a single usb stick and execute each one. if there is no executable i'd update in device manager.

note: just scrolling down that list of drivers i can't believe there are 10+ 100MB+ drivers, that's insane

most likely windows will have built in drivers and you should be good to go. However download the LAN driver to a usb stick incase windows doesn't have the driver built in.

And most of them from ASUS are out-of-date. Download the Intel stuff from Intel. Download the Realtek stuff from Realtek. etc, etc. Only download the ASUS specific drivers from ASUS or other OEM-only drivers that the chip maker doesn't provide. e.g. ASUS AI Suite, Atheros WLAN, Marvell Storage Drivers, etc.

Atheros, Marvell (except for Yukon LAN controllers), and some others don't provide drivers to end-users for their products, so you are forced to get them from some OEM. Windows Update might even have some newer drivers than ASUS.

Sonofa...

He has a P8P67, not a P8P67 *Pro*. And thus has a marvel LAN not an intel one.

I've been stuck on this problem for HOURS. :'( lolol, silly me.
