Have in interview this thursday for this local hospital. Its an internship in their IT department.

I haven't been to an interview for quite some time. I know I have to bring a copy of my resume,
but what else?

Photo ID, small notepad, pen. I'd suggest writing down some questions that you have for them now, before you forget.

most of all, bring a clear mind and the mentality for well thoughtout answers and a happy attitude.

Should my resume be printed on a nice sheet of paper or will white ordinary copy paper do?

Don't bust your butt to do so, but I think you should use a little nicer paper. Shows your more serious. If you have any sample of previous work you've done, bring that. I used to bring copies of programs I wrote to interviews. If you are a network admin type, I don't know what you could bring. Make sure you are dressed smart, not necessarily in a suit. Make sure you know exactly where you need to be for the interview, and that you allot plenty of time to get. Even they will probablly keep you waiting, one of the worst things is to be late for an interview. Make sure you are confident, but not cocky.

on top of the clear and relaxed attitude it might help to do a "mock" interview with some of the typical canned questions that recruiters use like "where do you see yourself in 10 years?" Or "If you had 2 absolutely free days, what would you do?" Don't get rattled if you can't think and answer quickly, take your time, stay calm and give it some time. Most recruiters don't mind if you answer slow... and it's certainly better than answering fast & crappy!

I also usually bring my PDA to read off of since they make you wait... makes you look like you're managing your time wisely without blatantly looking like you're reading a novel or something. Oh, I'm not sure if this applies to you, but I usually bring an umbrella... rain-soaked interviewee doesn't look good. :D

Wear a tie, iron your shirt the night before, printout your resume, know exactly where is the interview, be there on time, have a positive attitude, cheerful, smile :D, prepare yourself for some of the questions they'll ask you, write down your questions about the company, read up about the company you're interviewing with i.e. what they do, who are their clients, where are they heading, how do they make their money, etc. For internship well, be confident and proud of your knowledge<---show them you know what you're talking about.

P.S. I have a interview this wednesday as well heheheh.... :D a little nervous b/c its with one of the largest firm nationwide for my field of study. wish me luck :). Best of luck to you too.
