What time are you going to start drinking tomorrow?

I'm thinking around 6AM tomorrow?

One of my favorite pubs opens at 6 and has live music by Black 47 (pretty sick celtic rock band), plus a free irish breakfast for the first 100 people who show up.

Unfortunately I've also got to be at work somewhere between 8 and 9, but my office is like ~3 blocks from the aforementioned pub, so I'm thinkin a few pints with some breakfast couldn't hurt, right?

I'm doing the traditional corned beef, potato dinner (not much for cooked cabbage) and the beer will likely be this color, not green, to prevent this: http://www.visualeditors.com/a...02goochgreentongue.jpg

Yeah, you're probably right. There's no way anyone could tell you had a few pints, and even if they could it's not like it's unprofessional to arrive at work shortly after drinking.

I'm not drinking tomorrow. Decided to give up alcohol for Lent. However, I will be out, probably driving my friends home later on. We had a blast last year, I'm wondering what it'll be like from the sober perspective this year.

I will, however, try to hit our usual place for the Irish breakfast. The nice part about hanging out at the same pub every weekend is that even on crazy days where everyone has to go "Irish" is that we can let ourselves in at the front whatever line will form, get a seat at the bar, and get priority for service. :)

Am I excused from drinking if I'm a recovering alcoholic? Not a social drinker but an abusive one.

I'm not drinking tomorrow, not because of any addiction or religious issues, simply because it is a Tuesday night and I generally don't drink alcoholic beverages during the week.

people who need an excuse to drink are pussies.

Well it's not everyday you can get green beer. ;)

We had a keg over the weekend and were surprised that it started spitting out green beer. So yes, you can probably drink it every day if you really really want to. :)
