What things can be considered community service?

I'm applying for the NHS in our school, and it needs community service :(

Living my life going to school, coming back home, staying at home, going back to school, etc... I do not have much. Anything online that can be considered community service? could the "find-a-drug" thing be considered community service? helping people with homework online/tutoring them? I'm not sure...I want to see how far I can stretch the boundaries of it to make it so it still counts.

fix computers at a library, paint walls that have graffiti on them, serve food at a homeless shelter, etc. etc. etc.

People have to apply for NHS?

Hell, one day I got called to the office wondering why the hell I had to visit that hellhole yet again. Come to find out I was now the newest member of NHS. Told them to take the honor and shove it.

"find-a-drug?"
What is that? Find a drug and do it? Why didn't they have this sort of CS when I was in HS?

It was competitive to get into it in our hs. What about church, volunteering anywhere for anything, etc.

You can't find time on weekends to just volunteer somewhere for an hour or two?

Ah the National Honor Society. Where I was from, it was the most worthless piece of junk ever - meant only as a resume padder. Members met once a month during the school year for 5 minutes before school started to talk. That was it. I kept getting invited and declined.

Often places like the Salvation Army or Goodwill will have old computers donated. You can go help set them up and get them running in good condition as community service. I'm assuming you like computers...

good idea

I can do that for the NHS Requirements

For now I need something to actually get in :p

I'm going to try to put something about "helping to find a cure for cancer, malaria, etc etc"
I've donated money to good causes, and I help people with tutoring and homework a lot. I've donated a computer to somebody who needed one in my school, and got it all set up (they couldn't afford one)

Could those all be considered comm. service?
