The thing is this: I have changed (today) my old good PC100 (192 MB 128 + 64) for a new shine PC133 (192 + 64 DIMMS), so this the deal before the upgrade I can OVC my CPU (TBird 800) to 880MHz this by taking up the FSB from 100 to 110, and that was the max OC that I can do, but after te upgrade I cannot go beyond 800MHz (100MHz FSB), so what is the deal :disgust: , I upgrade the memory expecting and OVC increase, but it happens in the otherwise..

Any Idea, Tip, etc..etc..

My CPU Specs Are:

AOpen MK33 Mobo.
AMD Athlon Tbird 800.
Apacer 128MB PC133.
Apacer 64MB PC133.
Fujitsu UDMA 66 HD 5400RPM.
Internat ZIP100 Drive.
AOpen PA3000+ VC.
SBLive Value AC.
AOpen HQ45 Case.
AOpen Burner CDRW.
Creative 52X CDR.
Affrey 56Kbps PCI FaxModem .

most newer good pc100 will work at upwards of 100 fine, some up to 150 i believe...memory is not only factor that can prevent you're overclocking, for example, if you cpu is only mediocre and not some super die, or if not enough voltage, or if your other components like vid card or mobo won't bite...

Edman: On VIA KT133 motherboards such as the MK33, it's almost never the memory keeping you back in Front Side Bus overclocking, it's the chipset. KT133 was more or less intentionally crippled by VIA so Athlon owners couldn't overclock their CPUs via simply raising the bus clock.

If you want to overclock higher, you'll want to adjust that CPU's multiplier higher. A 800MHz Tbird has a reasonable chanse of hitting 950MHz-1050MHz range with sufficient cooling.

Thanks for your answer jpprod, I wanna give a try to the L? bridges of the CPU to can overclock my current CPU, but I was trying to do it with an generic pencil for short those L1 brindges and nothing happens, I cannot reach the other L? bridges 'cause the warranty barcode label is stick over they, so if I remove the sticker I loss my warranty.

I think that I'll stock in the original speed of the processor 🙁

If anyone have other ideas to ovc my processor I'll appreciate it.

Regards!
