Keep in mind that we only saw an edit. Perhaps their commander told them to disable the vehicle. Firing upon it would do such. Then perhaps orders got changed to completely demolish it. Sure, they werren't the most professional about it, but I'm positive that if they didnt get the order from higher to destroy it then they would be in a lot of trouble.

Keep in mind that these guys are going through zero stress over there, so they are acting at 100% at all times.

That was just wrong. What purpose does that serve? Those guys are probably just going to go off and do it again, or start planting bombs to kill US soldiers.

You can't really blame the soldiers, they were put into a role that they were not prepared for and they took the wrong action IMHO. The DOD should have planned better to deal with civil disorder, and chaos instead of putting teenagers with tanks and no law enforcement experience/training in charge.

Shoulda thought about that before stealing wood. If you were his taxi competitor, you would certainly think twice about looting with your vehicle after seeing or hearing about that wouldn't you? So, it does get the job done cheaply and quickly.
