i am now the designated "computer guy" in my fvcking household. my sister left her laptop at home when she went back to school for a week.. there's a paper she has to turn in which is on the computer. i am now in charge of getting the computer connected to the internet (with notfred's help) and sending the paper. i have no fvcking clue how to do it.. it's a freaking mac on OS 9. but for some reason, im the designated computer guy, so i must know what to do..

Would anyone else in your house know how to work the computer better than you?

Christ do your sister a small favor.

It's a MAC how hard can it but, at least acording to the ads.

Don't you just put it near a phone jack and let the machine do the rest. :D

How about:
1. Copy the file(s) on to a floppy
2. Email the file(s) to her at her school.

the point is not the work. the work was easy. it's the fact that nobody else recognizes that they can do the same thing. it is not hard to find out how to do that. i asked notfred. he helped me. why couldnt she have done it? or another family member? why did my mom tell me that i personally had to do it, or my sister's paper would be late...?

and notfred, it wasnt the dropdown box. i had to type in a DHCP Client ID and press save.. ;)
