The thought of him losing or winning are equally terrifying in my mind. If he loses he could say the election was a sham and his gun nut minions will go to work. Remember, they are told daily that we are the devil antifas who want to rip babies from the wombs of their women and we are coming for all their toys. If he wins we are looking at 4 or more years of hell and the end of the US as we knew it and the end of the rule of law.

You're assuming that ALL elections will be canceled. My thinking is that only the presidential general election would be canceled. House Members and senators would still be elected at the state level, dog catchers and coroners would still be elected at the county level.

Obviously not.

Doom fapping, or what? Trump losing doesn't scare me one teensy little bit. Beats the shit out of the alternative. We will have saved ourselves from total ruin & rejected corrupt authoritarian govt. Wake me if some bunch of damned fools starts shooting, OK?

Then it would be too late yes? You can choose to ignore the rhetoric from the last 3 1/2 years but it's also coming from the man currently in charge. A man who has everything to gain if he doesn't leave. He is playing a very dangerous political game in a well armed country. We are in uncharted territory here so we have look to hard learned lessons from the past. Nothing wrong with cautiously preparing especially since their side is.

“If you vote for [Joe] Biden, you’re going to be in Nazi Germany. That’s what it’s going to be like,” she said, referring to the former vice president’s White House run. “Socialism is going to happen here in America.”

Trump Is Now Openly Defying the Supreme Court

The Trump administration announced on Tuesday that it will continue to defy a federal court order compelling the full restoration of DACA, the Obama-era program that allows 700,000 immigrants to live and work in the United States legally. By doing so, the administration has chosen to flout a decision by the Supreme Court, effectively rejecting the judiciary’s authority to say what the law is.

Donald Trump first attempted to rescind the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program in September 2017, a move that would’ve stripped its beneficiaries of work permits and subjected them to deportation. But his administration continually cut corners, failing to explain the basis for its decision and refusing to consider the impact of DACA repeal on immigrants, their communities, and their employers (including the U.S. Army). This June, the Supreme Court ruled that the administration’s actions were “arbitrary and capricious” under federal law and therefore “set aside” DACA repeal.

Still have faith in the courts???

This is new and strange. What can the courts do? Issue an arrest warrant? Remove him from office?

This is not going to end well.

Everybody better pray for Trump to get a big bucket of Covid soon.

What does faith in the courts matter when certain individuals are directly or indirectly above the law?

Trump has minions that are violating the law and Court if they follow those orders. Have the minions arrested every single time.

Trump should drink poison, and have his body burned outside the bunker, like his predecessor. His High Command and Gestapo should stand trial for war crimes, and be sent to the gallows.

You think if Trump loses there will effectively be a military coup? I am very, very skeptical of this.
Yeah, no way. Trumpie already insulted all his top generals en masse. Remember? You're all a bunch of babies, he said. They are not fawning over him, none of them. They probably, the great majority, can't wait to see him gone. There will be no military insurrection when the mofo is a lame duck... it can't be too soon.

you guys are paranoid. If teams of disapointed Trump voters take up arms in insurrection they will be marshalled, jailed and prosecuted. Ain't gonna happen.
