What the &$^# is this?

On one beautful morning, I wake up and see this. Searchbar

Name that appears... "hppsgldrout"

Nothing suspicious under Add/Remove programs.

I just installed BlackIce and Adaware for future..

But How do i remove that search bar crap.??

Was there any pop-ups before asking you to install programs and you clicked 'yes'?

You need to stop it from starting in the registry.

Start, run, "regedit", hkey local machine, software, microsoft, windows, current version, run

yah there were popups, but i click the X to close the window.

AHHH!! It's still there!!! I will have to try the registry method when i get home.

EDIT: STUPID ME, I hadn't updated the file list for Ad-aware. ALL POOP is gone!!! YES!!!!!
