my father is willing to foot a 130 dollar upgrade to my brother's computer, but when i ask for a similar amount of cash for computer components, he says hell no.

my brother's computer cost about 400 dollars more than mine.

his cost 2400, mine 1900... +a few aftermarket peripheral upgrades...

ARRRGHGHGHG!!

/rant.

EDIT: yeah it does suck but parents always play favorites. I think a $1900 computer is sufficient though.

it's only 1900 because my father wouldnt let me build it myself.

he actually bought the full set. the dvd player, 2 1200 dollar speakers (reference 7's, reference 3 center channel, some super expensive subwoofer with a 12 inch driver, (over an inch of travel, too), ... 6 speakers total, reciever (denon 3802), and dvd player (denon 2800)

my brother's 2.5 years older than i am.

i am the youngest of the children, i am 18. my sister is the oldest. my brother is the middle child, the most useless child, and given the most.


there are some things i dont understand.
