I was walking by footlocker today saw a most uglest shoes ever and it was like $150 or 200 whatever

man what the hell , I used to love basketball shoes, used to wear em all the time when I was in highschool.

A recruiter at the tech recruiting place I used to work wore these really weird shoes, similiar to that. They were made by Oakley (sp?) What's that you say? They make sunglasses? Yeah, but they were experimenting with shoes too, and this guy had a friend who worked there who got him a pair. I have to say, I didn't really think of him as looking very cutting edge...

but in general today's shoes are ugly

i still like adidas shoes, but thats' about it
 
I think people who wear those shoes aren't trying to fit in...They want you to take notice and realize that they paid $200 for shoes...
 
I know what you mean. I went looking for some simple Converse hightop shoes a couple months ago and I couldn't find anything that I would wear in public.
 
lmao, they look like the tanks of the basketball shoe world. When I was judgin a science fair last week, some loser was wearing them, and i decided not to give him an award 😀
 
You guys do realize that these are basketball shoes, no?All basketball shoes out there look like crap if you wear them out on the street because most of them are not meant to be worn for normal every day use. They're for basketball. And when you wear them out on the courts, it's a different story. Those shoes which didn't look good before all of a sudden look pretty crazy. Just make sure you have the game to back up the shoes...
 
Watching shoe trends is kind of funny, actually. Remember about 3-4 years ago when the big thing was jagged black and white all over the shoe? Weird..
 
For that kind of money they better be Italian, soft leather, and come with spare laces.

Anyone see Back to the Future 2. Micheal J Fox had those exact shoes on his hover board 😉
 
god damn are those things fugly..... blah..... all those stupid high school kids that are gonna buy them..... i feel for their rents that are gonna shell out the $$$ for those pieces
