OK I got a Parking Ticket back in January of this year. It was no Standing at Bus Stop when I was moving into my apartment and the stupid cop gave me ticket anyway, but he didnt give it to me by hand when I went back to plead with him, instead, he left it on my windshield even when I entered my car. It was for $115

I used parkingticket.com and paid them half the money, and they helped me write me a letter to attempt to have it dismissed, the major one being that the cop did not properly serve me my ticket because I was present.

long story short, i sent in their letter, totally forgot about this. today i got a letter from the mail saying Im eligible to pay the reduced amount of 90 dollars, or else it will be reviewed by a judge and if I am not guilty i would still have to pay the full amount owed... $125... :Q when did I get another 10 bucks you bitches?

wait 7 months just to get a letter back saying it will be reviewed? how incompetent and ineffective are our elected officials and our so called government?

cliffs:
1) Got ticket for $115 on Jan 2005
2) Paid half to parkingticket.com to fight, sent letter back
3) 7 months passed by, i forgot about this whole thing
4) today received letter on mail saying i can pay a reduced amount
5) want the lazy fat bitches sitting in local government offices to die and stop wasting my tax money

you probably have to pay court costs and such as well.
expect to pay something like in the 160's range

if parkingticket.com really go with their guarantee, i dont have to pay anything anymore besides giving them half the amount initially when they wrote me the letter. normally i write my own letters, but this time i was in the wrong (it was a quiet street, but it was a bus stop) and i wanted to see if they can really beat my ticket for me

anyone had experience with them?

Court costs? they do this in a little room about 10x20 with a computer. The judge is a man with a suit and tie. He probably makes 50k a year. No court costs. You just pay ticket. Personally, I would pay the 90 bucks if you are in violation. I've been given tickets before and fought them. I lost every one.

i've had better luck

i've beaten a ticket for running a red light (i was 20 back then I have no idea how i did that... the 'judge' took my word over the cop's who was present and the judge said he made a judgmental error ROFL), and about 3 parking tickets, 2 of them by finding errors on the summons itself

this one i see i cannot beat it, that's why i dumped it to parkingticket.com

its a parking ticket, its all done through letters.

Go to the court whenever you want. Tell them not guilty. They'll send you in front of a little judge in a little room.
