It's not 65. It's 55. It hasn't gone above 60 in over a week. And 55...or 47 at night....is indeed cold, particularly for mid-June.

Like I said above, I just came here from Philly, my friends are all whining about the heat...I'll take their weather over this garbage any day.

Record update: if it stays under 65, it'll tie 1917 for having the first 11 days of June be 65 or under. Thursday would be the record breaker, except it looks like we'll warm to 65.

This weather trend is supposed to last into July.

It may be time to move south to California, this shit is getting old, fast.

Global warming my ass.

YES! This is why I want to move to your state. I'm in California and I'm tired of the heat. (I actually do plan on moving to Seattle once I finish college)

it was almost 100 in upstate NY for most of last week

TOO GOD DAMN HOT

ill take your 65F weather any day of the week and you can have the 95+ shit

that's why we're so hot, 'cause they are so cold.

did you get any high winds/storms yesterday?

it rained for aproximitly 45 seconds, then went back to being hot

further upstate we got pounded. you might see that on the news if you catch any of it today.
it stormed, knocked out power/trees/etc., and then it got sunny, humid and hot as hell again, and then we got hit with another wind/rain/hail storm again. it's quite pleasant here today, less humid, high in the upper 70's.

its nicer today still in the upper 80s tho no humidity. and IIRC you arnt any further upstate then me, technicially you are downstate from where i am

it got really windy and dark yesterday afternoon, rained for no longer then 5 min then the sun was back out
Yeah I am new to NY state and I really didn't expect the kind of heat there was for the past few days! A few days ago I went out after 8pm and it still said 92°.

I couldn't really hear any storms from inside of work yesterday, only seen some rain puddles when I got out. Heard some high winds later at home but it came and went very quickly. So for all the watches and warnings, didn't end up doing anything around the Bing area.

mosh is in the souther tier? y helo thar :D

Global warming my ass.

I feel you Buck.

I'm 75 miles north of you on Vancouver Island and this spring/early summer has sucked. I played golf in a pro-am tournament yesterday and we all froze our nuts off. Today is even colder.

I love VI, been surfing in Tofino a few times, awesome place.

Tofino/Uclulet/Long Beach is fantastic. I love going up there for a long weekend with my wife and spending the time walking the beaches, watching the waves crash in and cuddling by the fire.

edit: for spelling.

The water off California is too cold to swim in. To me that makes it just a facade of a real beach. I'm from the Caribbean, where beaches are for enjoying the water, not sitting on the sand and watching it!!

When the waves are good, wetsuits are not a problem. I grew up in Florida, and honestly I would take cold consistant waves, vs warm not at all consistant waves.

It sucks ass, all my friends from Philly are calling me and whining that it's too hot....I tell them to STFU, it's mid June and I'm still freezing, I want to hear no complaining. It seems to be getting colder! Last week it was upper 50s, lower 50s at night. Now its mid 50s, upper 40s at night.

Oh, and one of my coworkers just came in and informed me that it's colder in Seattle than in Siberia right now. Isn't Siberia a notoriously cold, snow covered part of the world?

Maybe I'll be moving back home sooner than I thought....

sounds like paradise

ditto

yep... where i live we got into the hight 30's and 40s in winter and it was wonderful, i left my window open and loved it!

I live in Wenatchee, WA and the weathers been terrible here too. Low 50s and extremely windy during my sisters graduation last week. With the wind chill everyone was wearing jackets and still freezing their asses off.
