Global warming my ass.

At least you aren't on the east side of the state, we got snow yesterday here in Spokane.

I love the cold, but I'm stuck in overly warm and humid Louisiana at the moment.

Summer lasted from Jul 1 - Sept 30.

With Seattle averaging 300 days of some form of precipitation its no suprise the June weather blows. Summers are great, its the rest of the year that completely blows.

What's so bad about the rest of the year? The winters are just cold enough to get beautiful snowfall, the summers are just hot enough to make a jump in the pool feel refreshing, and the springs and autumns are a wonderful mix of thunderstorms and sunny days.

Yeah, it's been about 10 degrees below normal in the Pacific Northwest for the last couple of months.

It happens every once in a while.

We'll probably have a really nice fall...

You can have Chicago's weather, it's too hot out, like 81 or 82. I'd kill for it to never get above 65.

Yea, I'm getting SO sick of this. It's like it's getting worse every day.

And WTF was with that windstorm the other day???

A good buddy of mine attempted to climb Mt. Rainier this week. The weather more or less ruined his trip - he only got to about 11,000' before his guide called off the climb and sent everybody back down.

I dunno if you knew, but a guy died last night and two more had to be rescued. Check komotv.com

Yeah - I read about that this morning. Sounds pretty intense up there right now. I climbed Rainier almost exactly one year ago, and depending on the hour we had perfectly sunny weather, blizzard-like conditions, and everything in between.

It sucks ass, all my friends from Philly are calling me and whining that it's too hot....I tell them to STFU, it's mid June and I'm still freezing, I want to hear no complaining. It seems to be getting colder! Last week it was upper 50s, lower 50s at night. Now its mid 50s, upper 40s at night.

Oh, and one of my coworkers just came in and informed me that it's colder in Seattle than in Siberia right now. Isn't Siberia a notoriously cold, snow covered part of the world?

Maybe I'll be moving back home sooner than I thought....

sounds like paradise

Global warming my ass.

I feel you Buck.

I'm 75 miles north of you on Vancouver Island and this spring/early summer has sucked. I played golf in a pro-am tournament yesterday and we all froze our nuts off. Today is even colder.

Southern California is semi-arid near-desert. Why people would want to live there is beyond me. Why don't you go outside and enjoy the TREES that you actually have in the Pacific Northwest?

Tofino/Uclulet/Long Beach is fantastic. I love going up there for a long weekend with my wife and spending the time walking the beaches, watching the waves crash in and cuddling by the fire.

edit: for spelling.

Even still, the crappy weather is quite noticeable.

It got gloomy last fall and it hasn't gotten sunny again, except that weekend of 90+º weather we had a couple of weeks ago.

Really, the only difference between the last two weeks and February is some rain and a few degrees in temp. It's weird.

Took my DL650 for a quick trip on Monday to the Dead Sea. Simply unbelievable...108F with way too much humidity (Heat Index 130F, I believe).
Since then the temperatures have gone way down.

I'm trying to be positive :( Sadly, Buck's right, this year sucks (and Blows) in the Portland Metro area as well.

...And bastard weatherman has been putting the little teaser "Suns" at the end of the 7 day forcast again...motherfkr

Yep, 11 days of cool weather in one tiny spot on the planet. That's good enough for me...

5-10 years of increased temperatures on a planet billions of years old. This game is FUN!

Because it's too cold to be outside. I guess I can enjoy the view of them from my window.

The water off California is too cold to swim in. To me that makes it just a facade of a real beach. I'm from the Caribbean, where beaches are for enjoying the water, not sitting on the sand and watching it!!

65 isn't too cold. You just need a light jacket. Texas is 90F right now, too hot to go outside :p
