It's a scam - try it. It really does go to PayPal but it's a REQUEST FOR PAYMENT to someone else!

<< PayPal is the online service that lets you quickly and easily pay your friends by email. In order to pay this request, you need to sign up with PayPal. Follow these easy steps to create your PayPal account (If you already have a PayPal account using a different email address, please login and add this email address to your account in the Personal Info section.): >>

Just try copy and paste the link, but replace their "paypal" with the proper one and see if it shows anything

does paypal still give out 5.00/referal? If so, maybe that's what this guy is doing...see the ID portion in the link?

He could make a lot of money off of new people signing up. Maybe you can e-mail paypal about it..if you care (?)

erub,

You should put the word "Paypal" in your thread title, so the 'Bot will see it. He's not programmed for message body search.
