What the hell is this AIM MSG??

thats funny. someone i know sent me that msg and i clicked it and of course i said no the the installer window. then i asked the kid if he installed it and hes dumb if he did.

then i knew i was right when i tried to view the root of the site and it was the same page.

i feel bad for people who fall for that stuff.

One of my friends got this last night.

Our conversation basically went like this:
Her: check out this site! <web address>
Me: I don't like installing random software from random companies
Her: Um... ok, why do you say that?
Me: That's what the link you just sent me tried to do
Her: What link?
Me: ...
Me: You may want to update your virus definitions and run a full scan, looks like you've got a virus.
Her: Dammit!
 
Someone just sent me it and I ran it like an IDIOT. Is it going to send it to all my buddies now? Any idea on how to get rid of it?

I wonder how hard it would be to make a website to counter-attack this and load an uninstaller and spyware removal tools.
