What the hell is the difference between Catsup and Ketchup?

I believe it's really called Catsup. Ketchup is what Heinz calls it.

one is spelled catsup, the other is spelled ketchup (not sure which one is spelled which)

Ketchup is usually better tasting. For example Heinz over Hunts.
