What the hell is AT&T's phone number?

Lifer
I'm moving and I want to call AT&T and tell them to transfer my phone/DSL service, but I can't fin their number *anywhere* on their website. Anyone happen to know what it is?

I hate the attitude that these giant corporations have where the try as hard as they can not to have to support their customers.

Thank you!

I called them, and got the most helpful rep in the world. I told her I was moving, she said "OK, I can help you with that", and she said "this will probably take 20-25 minutes, I say that because there's a whole bunch of stuff I'm required to tell you, but I'll talk fast so we can get it all done quickly"

I answered one of her earlier questions with "I only use the line for internet service, so whatever's cheapest". She said, "ok, you've made it pretty clear to me exactly what you want already, so I'll do this as fast as I can." She then proceeded to go through her script of services she needed to offer me so quickly that I could barely tell what she was saying, and she'd finish each service with "and since you're only using the line for internet you probably don't need that."

My 20-25 minute call was done in 17 minutes 🙂

Shens. That never happens. Those kind of people do not have jobs at call centers.

Now, tell us what REALLY happened. 😛

Seriously, she was probably the best CS rep I've ever talked to on the phone. 🙂

I've had it happen plenty of times, but only with female operators. Then again, the ladies love me.
