Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
<Windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe.
Please reinstall a copy of the above file.
Before I grabbed my XP cd to see if I could restore it, I figured I'd reboot first, and see if I got the same message.. and I did not. XP booted up normally. Just before I got the message I was screwing around in Linux (playing with Enlightenment), but pretty much immediately beforehand I was plugging my network cable back into my nic, because it was knocked out.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
