What the hell happened to Lucent & Orinoco?

So i've been trying to find drivers for my orinoco silver 11/mbps pcmcia card that says lucent technologies and have been able to find exactly nothing. lucent's website says nothing about its Orinoco cards, and i can only find mention of the orinoco silver on proxim's site. who the hell is proxim?? did they buy out the orinoco line or something? and would their drivers work for it? i just reinstalled xp and can't figure out what to do, and i want to know if lucent just ditched this line or what
 
dude, drivers for the original lucent orinoco silver are IMPOSSIBLE to find! i tried the ones on proxim's site, did absolutely dick. had to settle for XP's drivers. this is pretty lousy customer service on the part of lucent
