But I know it's to no use. I'll log out after numerous 'Stop posting' replies and fall asleep for two hours until my rude awakening from either flatulence or a fright of missing school. School, ay, there's the miserable routine I dread. Eleven periods of vapidness that I throw an irretrievable day of life to. I extract no knowledge nor meaning from its existence and believe it does more harm than good. But then, what is harm and what is good besides routes to pleasure or pain? So is that what these twelve futile years have been trying to provide me: a route to happiness? Yet the length of happiness is twice as short as the misery that I went through to get it and therefore I find it all null.

Sh!t, too much Shakespeare.

stop posting...

quick, a few more and maybe he can catch a nap before school

The most fvcked up things I have done were giving up, not communicating my feelings and concerns, and took the easy way out by walking away.

Such a paradox I am.

psuedo-philosophical babble = WAAAAAY past your bedtime. Sleep, and the scary, 1000 MPH escalator won't hurt you.

Yeah, lay off the bong dude.

Everyone loves to add that psuedo- prefix to what, piss me off? I guarantee I could write a better paper on philosophy, ontology and even theology than you any day of the week. I didn't formulate the thoughts above because I was tired as hell. Don't give me this psuedo-philosophical bullsh!t.

I'm sure writing papers is the only way to prove knowledge. Someone with your seemingly unfathomable insight into philosophy should realize the faults of claiming that writing a "superior" paper proves anything.

You know

I must agree with you. I remember many days of high school and undergrad wanting to kill myself because of the stupidity of the classes i was required to go to. I want to say it gets better but the bottom line is that it gets better only if you take it into your own hands to make it better.

Have you ever read Ayn Rand's Fountainhead. I swear there is a lot to learn from that book; so many of us just follow the path set for us. In the process we end up wasting seconds, minutes, days, and inevitable years (if not our whole lives) doing things that mean nothing to us. What a terrible way to waste our lives; working our butts off to do something that others tell us to do. Why waste years in college unless you like the intellectual challange? If you like intellectual challenge, why waste years taking requirements to graduate? Man...just thinking about all those hours I have wasted taking classes I hate I shudder. Why go to college if you want to make money? Did you know that most of the top ten richest people are not even college graduates. Thats nuts!!

I'll say figure out what you like in life. If you are still in high school; hang tight until it is done and MAKE SURE you do something you like.

Nice to finally hear a non-you're-a-stupid-teen-angst-kid response.

I'm familiar with The Fountainhead. I've read Rand's Anthem and extracted a great deal from that.
