It's been that long?

Surely they've released some pre 8800 series drivers for Vista?

As for XP, weren't the drivers already top-notch? Were there any bugs with them?

Also, perhaps they've been too busy creating drivers for the G80's and Vista? I dunno.

LOL... 93.71/93.81 top-notch? Yeah right...

NVIDIA's been really focused on the 8800's and Vista lately, so the modded driver community has had to take over a bit for driver upgrades for non-8800, Windows XP users.

Besides, when you consider that the last driver upgrade for Desktop non-8800 cards for Windows XP was in November, think about the fact that my GeForce Go 7900 GS in my laptop hasn't seen a new "official" driver since June of 2006, consider yourself lucky :p . LOL

These drivers are hardly perfect, lots of things need fixing, especially with the new games like Stalker and Tiberium Wars. Nvidia has gotten sooooo lazy.... I mean, I understand that they are concentrating on the 8800 series now but even those drivers are ****.

A preview of things to come, if AMD continues failing to put competitive pressure on them?

What issues are you having with the 93.71's?

I guess they do need to get some drivers out. I had thought that nVidia had pretty much perfected the GeForce 7's and XP, but maybe I'm wrong.
