What the heck?!? There are no Sonic fast food restaurants in the Chicago area!

Why do they keep showing commercials on TV all the time when the closet restaurant is like 200 miles away? :|

I hope their food stinks. Does it stink?

we get the same in madison wi, I see thier comercials all the time. I have heard that they rule school.

The chili cheese dogs aren't too bad. Otherwise the rest of the food is typical fast food grease laden drunk food. If you want a burger, go to a Carl's Jr. or Hardees. If you want good chicken, hit a Popeye's.

And for the record, Sonic corporate has one of the most un-user friendly and asinine locator maps I've ever had the displeasure of using.

The have some down in Champaign and Springfield.

Chicago has no shortage of good food anyway.

There are no Carls Jr's in the Midwest. And the closet Hardee's is 41.4 miles away. I'm gonna kill myself. 🙁

sonic isn't national

Over 2,406 restaurants in thirty states, throughout the southwestern, south central and southeastern USA. Most of this chain's locations are in Texas and adjoining states.

That always annoys me whenever I watch college football on CBS. I'm from NY, and I go to school in Indiana, and I've never seen a Sonic anywhere. Why have a national sales campaign when you aren't a national company?

If you ever walked through the cooking area in a Sonics and avoided falling on your ass after slipping on all the grease and oil on the floor you would never eat there.

I don't know how they pass health department inspections with their filth.

a lot of times they will do that before they enter a market to get you wondering about them...
Back in Toledo, they advertised for like two years and we never got a Sonic. We always figured there was one in Detroit or something.

Used to have one in Fort Wayne, but I never went there because I had never heard of it. When I actually wanted to try it, the one in Ft. Wayne had closed.
