I'm trying to get a DVI video card for my new server and I ended up buying this at what I thought was a good price:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ATI-RADEON-7000-32M...2QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I get it and then realize that my DVI connectors are not physically compatible with its input!

Note the picture of the DVI plug in the listing. It's much wider than normal DVI plugs... when I first looked at the listing I didn't pay it much attention because I just assumed that all DVI were the same...

Looks like this is a dual-DVI card that is supposed to come with a fanout cable to go onto that proprietary connector - on the far end of which you find two "normal" DVI plugs.

probably dms-59. its used for connecting a cable with 2 analog outs, or 2 dvi outs.

Looks like a P&D (Plug & Display) connector so the title was wrong but notice in the piccy the connector is not labelled DVI. Adapters can be had for $5-8 from monoprice 'n' such. But even sans that extra expense it wasn't really a bargoon as amongst teh first goggle hits one monger is flogging 'em for $9 shipped. :(

Most half height cards come with fan out cables
This one isn't a standard dms-59 cable like mentioned above though, like the newer x300/etc low end cards come with
