Alright... so I just made a fairly decent little upgrade to my system. I went from a MSI Pro2-A board and a 1.0 gig Tbird to a MSI K7T Turbo "Limited Edition" and a 1.4 gig chip. I kept the same 256 meg mushkin PC133 and my Elsa Geforce 2 MX (yeah, yeah I know... that's the next upgrade). Anyways, I used to be able to hit 3dmark 2k1 scores on my old setup of around 2800-2900... and now, with the new mobo and chip, I can't get anywhere near to breaking 2000. Now I know the GF2MX is what's holding this baby back from really flying, but I was hoping to at least get the same as or a little better then my old rig. I've installed the latest 4in1's, I've tried the Elsa retail drivers as well as the latest from nvidia's site.... some of my friends even came over and fiddled around with the options for a while, but we're all dumbfounded.

I haven't had any time to do any actual game playing yet.. so could it be that 3dmark is just an inconsistent way to test? I dunno... I'm just a little disappointed. Anyone run into anything like this.. or have any general pointers? Thanks for any help in advance!

You make sure that the bus speed is 133mhz and the memory is running at 133mhz also. Sounds like you need to do a few tweaks in the bios. Check to make sure that the 4way bank interleaving is enabled also.
